Sullivan Bay--Day 2

Wednesday afternoon we said good bye to Greg and Mary at the Sullivan Bay "airport" as they flew back to Seattle.  The plane was about an hour late due to fog down south but that's quite normal.

A bit of history--
Before Sullivan Bay became an oasis for recreational boaters, it was a thriving logging camp that housed dozens of men. As today, supplies arrived via float planes and boats--the only means of transportation.  The photos below are from the 1940s.
