We spent the weekend at Blind Channel and had a wonderful experience. Exploring nearby Charles Bay in the dinghy, we picked wildflowers on a small island and watched a flock of terns. Note how clear the water is.

You never know who is going to show up in the strangest places.... down the dock walked our good friend, Larry Galloway (aka Mr Patty Kirk). He was with his son, Art, daughter in law, Christine and grandson, Nils, on their sailboat--heading north. They came over to our boat for an after dinner drink. Nils brought his legos and we called Patty on the Sat phone.
Next day(Sunday), Carla and Thomas arrived via Kenmore Air. When we heard the plane approaching, we prepared bloody marys and met them on the dock.
Now this is funny...turns out Sunday afternoon was the annual Blind Channel Pooch, Hound and Doggie Show. We volunteered Carla to be a judge (!!!) and you can see her below in the blue shark hat. The dock guys, Nick and Jord, dressed in tuxedos and there was great music as the dogs and owners were put through their paces.

| And then there was the dog/owner look alike contest |

Bella, a Portuguese Water Dog, was top dog
We cleaned up after the show and enjoyed a lovely dinner in the restaurant.
Today is Tuesday and we are back at Cortes Bay--heading south . More escapades to follow...
